Mama Rosa's Trattoria, nestled in the picturesque Temecula wine country, offers an enchanting dining experience that combines rustic Italian flavors with stunning views. Guests frequently rave about the vibrant atmosphere, especially on weekends when live music graces the patio. Reviewers like Alan Zhang commend the restaurant's specialty pizzas, particularly the truffle pizza, which he rated a remarkable 9.5. Its light, airy crust made from European flour and a balanced topping of sausage ensures it stands out in a sea of pizza contenders.
Other highlights include the cozy ambiance, enhanced by fire heaters and attentive staff. Experiences shared by diners, such as Kara Speck's delight in fresh gnocchi and Tom Morgan's praise for the margarita pizza, testify to the restaurant's commitment to quality. Furthermore, the option to pair meals with local wines adds a charming touch, though some reviewers note it doesn’t quite rival established regions like Napa.
While some dishes, like the muffuletta, received mixed feedback due to their pricing, the general consensus is that Mama Rosa’s is a delightful escape from fast-food chains. The beautifully landscaped setting invites return visits, making it a must-try spot for those exploring Temecula’s culinary delights.

Phenomenal views and atmosphere on the patio with live music i believe on weekends We got the pepperoni pizza, truffle pizza, and muffuletta as well as the Chardonnay and Lyric Rose. I believe it came out to around 110 before tax/tip so decently pricy, especially the muffuletta which I believe was around 30. The truffle pizza - 9.5 a truly phenomenal pizza using European flour. For my gluten free person it caused minimal bloating and no other issues which has never happened stateside before. The sausage is definitely understated by the truffle but it was still an absolutely banging pie with a great crust The pepperoni pizza: 7.1 a good pie, but doesn’t really compare to the white pie and I love me sauce on a pie Muffuletta: 6.9 it’s a good sandwich, but definitely ham heavy over salami and mortadella, just not ideal at the 30 price point The Chardonnay was definitely better than the rose to me, but let’s be real it’s still Temecula wine no matter how you cut it, it will never compare to France Italy chile etc. or even napa. When we come back it’ll be for the atmosphere, great service, and truffle pizza. I’ve also got my eyes on the wings, calamari, and pastas. MTF.

Great food. Had the soup and pizza. Beautiful views also. It’s a sit down place but need to get up to order versus full table service. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Came in on a Saturday night in February and was able to easily get a table for a party of 4. Staff was so welcoming and sweet. They had fire heaters as well as heaters under the terrace. The wine was amazing and the food was top notch. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The gnocchi was so fresh and delightful. Pizza also great. Highly recommend stopping in!

Actually felt like being in Tuscany with the vineyard all green on a sunny day. The property is super nice! We had a margarita pizza, bruschetta and Caesar salad with some wine and it was all really good. It’s nice to actually eat somewhere not in town that’s not a chain. We will 100% be back.

This our favorite winery in the area! Not only is the wine excellent but the food is great. The patio has gorgeous views and is heated in the cooler temps. They have beer and the games on TV. I have been spending Friday afternoons working from here.

A beautiful day with my beautiful daughter Heather We were served at the order station by a cordial respectful and educated server Christian Top notch young man His coworker Kiley made sure that everything was good for us and checked with us to make sure we were having the experience we wanted NO pressure Kiley is a true professional imo We had the r & r pizza with extra mushrooms and sausage It’s not their favorite to make because the toppings are too heavy for the thin crust They agreed today It was a 9.8 today in both of our opinions Heather thinks it might be her best pizza ever We both enjoyed the many fine wines responsibly The entire staff at Mama Rosa’s should be proud that they turned a misting overcast day into one of the best days my daughter and I have spent in many many years Thank you

Great place. Beautiful view. All outdoor seating. We visited this place on a Saturday. We were seated pretty quickly. You can make a reservation online. As well as view their menu. There was a musician playing a variety of upbeat and relaxing music. Loved it. To order food and drinks, you have to walk up to the counter/bar... and pay as you go. They give you a number and take out the food to your table when ready. It seemed organized. The food was delicious and definitely fresh. I really enjoyed the pizza, salad, and charcuterie board. Easy breezy. The staff was friendly and helpful. This winery as a whole is a yes for me.

The salad was big enough for 4 people. I ate as much as I could and took the rest home. It was delicious. Salami, Sorpessata, Prosciotto, crisp romaine, tomatoes, and little crisp bread in top. So yum!
